About The Eye See…Eye Learn® ProgramAny child enrolled in a kindergarten in Alberta is invited to participate in the Eye See…Eye Learn® program. Children born between 2016 and 2017 can go to a participating optometrist and receive an eye exam funded by Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP).
If needed, your child will receive one pair of glasses sponsored by participating optometrists, Essilor Vision Foundation Canada, and Modern Optical Canada. These eyeglass frames are stylish and the durable polycarbonate lenses resist damage. The retail price of each pair of glasses is $250 or more.
